Yes, most stitches will absorb in 3 to 4 weeks. If any problems occur, the stitches can be removed 10-14 days after the surgery.
Will my pet be in pain?
We offer pain medications if the client chooses for the pet to have them; this includes an injection, plus tablets to be given for 3 to 5 days after the surgery.
Can my pet eat and drink after surgery?
We recommend small amounts of food frequently, once taken home, to prevent the animal from getting nauseated from the sedation.
What days do you do surgeries?
We do surgeries Monday through Friday by appointments. We ask that you have your pet here on the day of your appointment between 8:00 and 9:00 A.M. and in most cases be able to pick up the same day after 3:30.
